Lee is one of the first models I ever worked with and I’m lucky that she’s so photogenic and good at her job.
This was shot in the original studio and a two-light setup. Her tattoo fascinated me but I wanted it to pop. I sampled the red from her lips, made it a deeper tone, and then spent hours selecting the dragon and replacing the color with the red from her lips.
I also wanted the image to be more severe so I sharpened her hair a lot while keeping her skin smooth.
