There are some houses you walk into and immediately know what you’re going to shoot. For this house as soon as we saw the view of Mt. Rainier we told the owners that we’ll shoot the rest of the house, take a break, and be back a few hours later during sunset for the living room. After that it was a matter of positioning and approximating the studio lights, then waiting until the time was right. When the time was right we made last adjustments to the lighting and then made several images which were merged together by hand to produce this image. It’s truly beautiful and is an accurate representation of the house.
